Community Credit Union is offering The Matt Murphy Co-operative Leadership Scholarship as a tribute to the dedicated past director and respected leader in the co-operative sector.  Two scholarships of $500 each will be awarded in Matt Murphy's name.
The scholarship will be awarded based on a student's involvement in both school and community and the impact they have on making this a better world.  We hope to encourage the qualities of good citizenship and co-operation which Matt Murphy exemplified in his life.  He inspired people to get involved to make a difference.

Eligibility

• Be a member of Community Credit Union or the dependent of a member.
• Be a student in Level 1, 2 or 3.
• Ensure the application is completed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated community involvement/leadership.
• Demonstrated school involvement/leadership.
• Be in good academic standing.

Selection

• Consideration will be given to the level of commitment not the number of volunteer programs.
• To ensure fairness the names of the applicants will not be know to the Selection Committee.
• As the applicants will be anonymous,dependents of Community Credit Union employees, delegates and Board may apply.
